Net Metering in the Sunshine State
Presented by The Florida Bar CLE Committee and the Environmental and Land Use Law Section (part of the ELULS 2020-2021 Audio Webcast Series) THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 2021 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (EDT) |
Speakers:
One of the most discussed tools for customers to increase their use of renewables is net metering. Residential and commercial users have unique energy needs and anticipate different solar energy uses based on their location in the Sunshine State. Recent rules discussions appear to have stalled but are still on the horizon at the Public Service Commission. This CLE features presentations describing the development of Florida’s Net Metering Rule and contrasts national net metering activities and a recent case study in the Southeast. The CLE will also provide opportunity for Q&A with these industry leaders.
